Will we ever find love in a modern world like this? Could it be that times we are busy on the phone, the love of our life could have just walk us by, or maybe sitting right in front of us, but the moment we look up her friend came and sat in front of her, blocking your one and only chance to see her beautiful face and give a smile which might lead to a conversation of a simple "hi".

Could it be that the love of our life is right in front of us and has always been there for us, but we were blinded by the networking that we have access to chat with other girls overseas which is not the one. Could it be that with technology allowing us to access pictures of beautiful girls around the world; it has blinded us with expectations of how our spouse is supposed to look like, dress like and behave like. Could it be that with technology, instead of being busy building ourselves to be a better person, we are busy searching online the right one for us which is physically attractive that suits our criteria.

Love at these moments could just be a mere illusions, like as if we’re stuck in the desert, drying up our soul, we start cracking and allow everything to pass through as we thirst for water because then everything around us becomes an illusion of water and what we need to survive or feel alive to be able to live on but without knowing, no matter how much we take it in, it doesn’t quench our thirst, it doesn’t heal our cracks, it doesn’t make our dull life flourish and grow but instead, worse, with left over dried up plants, dead animals that left behind their bones as memories of what used to be our illusion of happiness and a dry atmosphere that every time you try to breathe, it dries up your throat and you choke on it, making you feel like killing yourself, hoping this would end your misery quickly so you won’t bare this pain no more.

What if you manage to see pass through it, what if your manage to wake up and tell yourself that whatever you are seeing is false, that your mind is letting your eyes see what your mind wants to see, at that point of time, the time used on mere illusions, could be used to move on ahead till you find a better side of the desert before your energy runs out, till you find a better side of people, till you find hope of what seems to be long gone.
